The house with a picturesque name, the House of Two Saints, is an example of the profane Renaissance in Poreč. The house ground floor is a semi-circular passage with two single lancet windows above and a semi-circular finish. The facade is decorated by two reliefs depicting straight standing saints, after which the house was named. Although they show characteristics of the 13th century Romanesque sculpture, the structure is a modest Renaissance building. The House of Two Saints dates back to the end of the 15th or the early 16th centuries, while the facade sculptures had originally been a part of an older structure, most probably the St. Cassian Monastery, which archaeological remains were found nearby. The building is used today as the Conservation Office.
